Angels Go For Four Straight

by @ 2:42 pm. Filed under 2008 Angels, Angels Season Lookbacks

The Angels are fresh off a shutout win of the Royals last night with the help of Ervin Santana, and look to take the series and make it their fourth straight win.

Nick Adenhart will make his second MLB start for the Angels. In his first start, Adenhart was roughed up for five runs and five walks in just two innings. He is returning with a full-term’s rest now, and debut-jitters out of the way, so we should see Adenhart with more command to make it past at least four or five innings.

The Royals will start Brian Bannister, who is 3-3 with a 4.04 ERA, though he has been roughed up of late after starting the season 3-0. The start will be Bannister’s first against the Angels.
