The Angels head out to Toronto and open a three game series with the Blue Jays beginning Tuesday at 4pm.
The Angels have won their last two series against the White Sox and Dodgers after they were swept in Tampa Bay last week. The Angels have dropped the last eight series against the Jays, who stand at .500.
John Lackey will make the start on Tuesday, his second of the season. He earned the no-decision in his first start of the year, giving up just one run through seven. The Angels skip out on facing Jays ace Roy Halladay, who was scratched for the start after being used in relief on Sunday. Instead, Dustin McGowan will make the start, who stands at 2-3 with a 4.38 ERA.
Chone Figgins and Howie Kendrick will both make the road trip with the Angels this week. Figgins will then likely skip a rehab assignment and at best will be activated to play by the end of this week.
