Angels-White Sox Preview

by @ 9:56 am. Filed under 2008 Angels

The Angels are back home, starting a four game series tonight with the White Sox at 7:05.

The Angels hope to turn around their four game losing skid after being swept by the Rays in Tampa Bay. The White Sox have won three of their last four, and stand one game out of first in the AL Central. The Angels have Nick Adenhart starting for just his third MLB career start. He got two no decisions in his previous two starts, but did give up three runs to Kansas City last Tuesday before being pulled in the fifth.

The White Sox will start Mark Buehrle, who is 1-4 on the season with an identical career record against the Angels. Buehrle is on a losing skid, going 0-4 with a 4.54 ERA in his last five starts.
