Figgins Update

The Angels almost had to add a third second baseman to the DL this week. But despite Chone Figgin’s strained hamstring after sliding home in Saturday’s game, he will avoid the DL. Figgins took Sunday off and Sean Rodriquez, who was just recalled yesterday, will make the start for Figgins today. He should be healthy enough by the beginning of this weekend’s Astros series to play again.
